Tiffany & Company Debuts Blue-Box Cafe and Holiday Windows

On November 10th, Tiffany & Co. opened the Blue Box Café in its NYC flagship. The chic new eatery will live on the building’s fourth floor, which also houses the brand’s new luxury home and accessories collection, baby boutique, assortment of vintage books, and sterling silver goods.

What the compact café lacks in space, it makes up for in Tiffany-esque sophistication. The brand’s signature turquoise appears on the furniture, tableware, and walls (even on the amazonite stone panels). In lieu of traditional hanging art, mini display windows serve clever décor. Plus, there’s a clear view of Central Park outside.

“The space is experimental and experiential–, a window into the new Tiffany,” chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff said in a statement.
The Blue Box Café offers a simple menu that will change each season, featuring “a refined take on signature New York dishes” made from locally-sourced ingredients. And for Holly Golightly fans and Breakfast At Tiffany’s aficianados, there is coffee and a croissant (which comes with a side of avocado toast, truffled eggs, or smoked salmon bagel) for $29. Audrey Hepburn’s Givenchy dress and pearls are not included, however.

Tiffany & Co. is located at 727 5th Ave, New York, NY 10022. The Blue Box Café will operate during the store’s regular working hours.

Also just in time for the holidays, the dazzling diamonds of Tiffany & Company are on view! Would you expect anything less than dazzling, bejeweled windows from Tiffany? Each window is an homage to legendary designer Gene Moore and illustrates the magic of giving a Tiffany gift while the handcrafted elements and theatrical lighting draws the eye to the sparkling Tiffany product on display.

A brilliant Tiffany engagement ring shines on a hook in a scene depicting a mannequin ice fishing surrounded by diamond-dusted trees. Another window showcases a whimsical figure holding an Atlas bangle while balancing atop a yo-yo from the Home & Accessories collection. Its holiday windows add a touch of the iconic brand color to each wintry scene.
