Held at the TOKYO NODE gallery, situated within the towering Toranomon Hills Station Tower, Tiffany Wonder marks a significant moment for the brand. The exhibition not only celebrates Tiffany & Co.’s nearly 200-year legacy but also highlights the deep connection the company has shared with Japan since its early days.

In 1837, founder Charles Lewis Tiffany offered his clients a unique selection of imported Japanese goods, a rarity in the American market at the time. This early appreciation for Japanese artistry continued to influence the House’s design ethos. Both Louis Comfort Tiffany and Elsa Peretti, renowned Tiffany designers, drew inspiration from Japanese aesthetics in their work. The Tiffany Wonder exhibition celebrates this long-standing mutual respect and highlights how Japanese art has enriched Tiffany & Co.’s creative journey.

At Tiffany Wonder, visitors can expect to be enthralled by ten unique rooms, each meticulously curated to explore themes central to Tiffany’s identity. From craftsmanship and heritage to cutting-edge design and enduring creativity, the exhibition promises a multi-faceted exploration of the brand’s coveted DNA.

Spanning 10 rooms, Tiffany Wonder will combine this aspect of the brand’s history with its wider heritage and foundations in craftsmanship, reflected in the display of significant Tiffany & Co. objects, including the first Blue Book mail order catalogue, the Tiffany Setting engagement ring and Jean Schumberger’s emblematic Bird on a Rock brooch.

In a release, Alexandre Arnault, executive vice president of product, communications and industrial for the brand, said: “The idea of wonder has been integral to our DNA since 1837.

“Since the very beginning, each design that we’ve imagined and each piece that we’ve handcrafted has been rooted in our mission to spark wonder and inspire the world’s greatest love stories. Our latest exhibition celebrates this spirit in a city of great importance to Tiffany & Co.: Tokyo.”

The exhibition is set to be unlike anything else, leaving visitors awestruck with nearly 300 never-before-seen objects, including design relics and cultural touchstones. Among these treasures are the very first Tiffany Blue Book mail-order catalog, a piece of history that revolutionized jewelry shopping, and the iconic Tiffany® Setting engagement ring, a symbol of everlasting love recognized all over the world.

History buffs will appreciate the inclusion of a rare George Paulding Farnham for Tiffany & Co. orchid brooch, adorned with enamel, emeralds, diamonds, and pink sapphires. Modern marvels will be on display as well, including the Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. Plumes necklace, a dazzling display of diamonds, rubies, and sapphires.

Tiffany Wonder at Tokyo Node gallery will run from April 12 to June 23. Tickets for Tiffany Wonder are available now through the Tiffany & Co. app, downloadable on both iOS and Google Play.
