A standout opportunity has just opened up in New York’s experiential retail world. Spark, the global creative agency known for its work bringing brands to life in physical spaces, is hiring an Experiential Project Manager to serve as the on-the-ground operational lead for one of its high-profile retail experience accounts.
For anyone in the WindowsWear community — whether you’re working in visual merchandising, retail design, brand activation, or environmental production — this is a role worth a closer look.
About the Role
The Experiential Project Manager will sit at the very center of a complex, high-visibility retail program that spans in-store experiences, retail campaign rollouts, product launches, live activations, and physical environment updates. It’s a senior, embedded position designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of creative direction and real-world execution.
This isn’t a behind-the-screen project management role. The successful candidate will own retail experiences from initial brief through installation — translating creative concepts into buildable, scalable, flawlessly delivered in-store realities.

The role spans the full lifecycle of retail experience delivery, with responsibilities including:
- End-to-End Experiential Ownership — Managing projects from brief through to physical execution and post-installation review.
- Retail & Activation Planning — Building timelines that account for fabrication, logistics, shipping, and installation, not just creative development.
- On-Site Delivery — Leading store visits, installations, and activations, making sure execution aligns with creative intent.
- Critical Path Management — Tracking dependencies across creative, production, and vendor workstreams to proactively manage risk.
- Cross-Functional Coordination — Partnering closely with fabricators, production teams, installers, and logistics partners.
- Global-to-Local Translation — Bridging global creative direction with the realities of New York store environments.
The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for the client’s US-based team during their working hours, working across three time zones in a global creative delivery model — while keeping a strong grip on local execution.
Who Spark Is Looking For
Spark is searching for a process-driven self-starter with 5–7 years of experience in experiential retail, brand activations, environmental design, or retail production. Familiarity with fabrication processes, materials, print production, and installation workflows is essential — as is experience managing vendors, fabricators, and on-site teams.
Beyond the technical skills, the role calls for someone who is:
- Calm and solutions-focused in live, high-pressure environments
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail across physical and digital outputs
- Proactive and accountable, with a real sense of ownership over execution
- Collaborative across global teams and local partners
- Genuinely passionate about retail experiences and bringing brands to life in physical spaces
Familiarity with tools like Airtable and SharePoint is a plus.
