Louis Vuitton opens pop-up book shops in Arles and Capri

For the fourth year, Louis Vuitton presents an updated edition of the City Guide devoted to Arle city in France and its world-famous photography festival. The guide gives pride of place to the visual image, featuring previously unpublished portfolios by Bertrand Meunier of the Tendance Floue collective and students at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (ENSP) as well as an at-a-glance illustrated program of the festival. Available in its print form in bookstores, the City Guide is also available in a digital format via the City Guide mobile app that is free to download during the festival.

To celebrate the Louis Vuitton newsstand on the island of Capri, a special edition of the City guide was created. In fact, the guide looks like a blue casket, in homage to the blue island, with ten postcards illustrated with works signed by Aurore de la Morinerie, taken from the Travel Book Mediterranean Sea. In this edition, there is no shortage of must-see addresses, collected in the main categories including bars, hotels, restaurants and places of interest.

Finally, hidden among the postcards, the tips are collected. That is, tailor-made suggestions on which music to listen to, films to see and a list of unmissable ones to take away from the island. The newsstand is open from 8 July to 4 September, every day from 10 to 14 and from 17 to 21.
