LOEWE opens newly renovated boutique in Milan at Via Montenapoleone

Following a complete renovation, LOEWE has reopened its flagship store Milan at Via Montenapoleone. Located on one of the city’s most sought-after streets, the 217sqm space showcases the full range of women’s ready-to-wear, bags, and accessories, alongside candles and homeware – by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson

Taking its lead from the CASA LOEWE design concept, the building’s original 18th century façade opens onto an airy double-height ground floor punctuated with imposing columns, handmade white Spanish wall tiles, and a floating staircase. Alongside familiar design details including furniture by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, Axel Vervoordt, and Isamu Noguchi, the store displays an eclectic curation of works from LOEWE’s collection of art and craft.

Artworks include Haegue Yang’s mesmerising sculpture Sonic Sable Straggly Swell, 2020 (TBC), Ragna Bley’s expressive abstract painting Peripheral Bruise, 2022, Merlin James’ Store Front, 2018, and Stephanie Heinze’s playful oil and acrylic painting Conjunction of II, 2021. Ceramics include Pablo Picasso’s hand-painted pitcher Sujet Colombe, 1959, and an African clay pot made in Mozambique between 1900–1975.
