Kate Spade New York has brought its fall Beet concept to life across its retail network, partnering with Duggal Visual Solutions to create a visual experience at the brand’s Rockefeller Center flagship and additional locations across the country.
The rollout is built around a single defining element: color. Every participating location uses the same signature Beet hue, creating a consistent brand expression regardless of where customers encounter the installation.
At flagship locations, Duggal transformed familiar elements of the New York City commute into a playful, dimensional streetscape. Custom-fabricated pigeons, lampposts, subway-inspired structures and benches reinterpret everyday urban references through Kate Spade’s distinctive visual language. Each element was fabricated and finished with details specific to the brand, turning recognizable pieces of the city into an unexpected retail environment.
The project brought together multiple production disciplines, including custom fabrication, 3D printing, specialty graphics and precision color production. The installation spans a wide range of materials and applications, from dimensional elements and painted surfaces to walls, windows, pedestals, risers, self-adhesive vinyl and printed SEG graphics.
Maintaining the same Beet color across these different substrates and production processes was a central component of the rollout. Color was matched and managed throughout production to ensure that painted surfaces, printed graphics and dimensional elements maintained a consistent appearance from one location to the next.
