French fashion house Jacquemus has opened its first Miami boutique in the city’s Design District, bringing a distinctly Mediterranean point of view to South Florida. Located at 157 NE 40th Street, the two-story, 2,900-square-foot space marks the brand’s second U.S. boutique and seventh international location. Conceived by founder Simon Porte Jacquemus in collaboration with renowned architecture firm OMA, the store blends fashion, art, and collectible design into a retail experience that feels more like a private residence than a traditional boutique.

Inspired by the warmth and simplicity of Provence, the interiors feature handmade stucco walls, custom yellow terracotta tiles by Italian manufacturer Cotto Etrusco, and forged-iron details. A sculptural staircase crafted from Saint-Marc Jaune stone by Marbrek connects the two floors, while a dedicated shoe salon and private VIP area offer more intimate shopping experiences. Natural light floods the space through newly designed façade openings, complemented by a dedicated window display intended for rotating installations.
Art plays an equally important role in the boutique’s identity, with works personally selected by Jacquemus, including pieces by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Germaine Richier, and Wolfgang Tillmans. Collectible furniture by Frank Lloyd Wright, Jean Royère, and Mathieu Matégot sits alongside custom-designed pieces, creating an eclectic dialogue between fashion, architecture, and design. The result is a sun-soaked expression of the Jacquemus universe, proving that a little French Riviera charm feels right at home in Miami.
