Fendi opens new flagship store in Tokyo at Omotesando

Fendi has recently opened a new flagship store in Tokyo at Omotesando. The men’s and women’s collections are exhibited on an area of 855 square meters, recalling a special atmosphere that brings Rome to the oriental world.

The new opening in the Japanese capital intends to make an encore with the retail debut of the Lvmh brand in Seoul but the absolute novelty now is given by the presence of the kids collection inside the boutique in a dedicated floor.

A selection of furniture from the home line is combined with high-design special pieces created by Arno Declercq, Roberto Sironi and Oeuoffice. Overall, the new store features the most recent retail design concept of the brand.

Leather goods and accessories from the women’s collection are on display on the ground floor of the building, while a line of men’s collections is available in the basement. On the second floor, the boutique space is dedicated to women’s prêt-à-porter collections, as well as shoes and furs.

On the sustainability side, by 2023 the flagship will obtain the prestigious Leed sustainability certification, after having achieved objectives such as the reduction of CO2 emissions and energy consumption. In addition, particular attention has been paid to internal environmental quality, supplying primary air in all spaces and installing Co2 and Voc
