With awareness of fashion’s environmental impact growing every day, consumers and brands are eager for ways to make their habits more sustainable.
The beloved brand, Coach, launched (Re)Loved — a collection of restored and upcycled handbags “rescued” from the brand’s Repair Workshop.
Coach additionally launched a trade-in program where customers can recycle their pre-owned Coach for store credit! Inspired by the motto of “Wear It, Love It, Pass It On,” the brand commits to doing better for the planet by making fashion circular. Each bag they take back will be responsibly repurposed, reused, or recycled.
Starting July 15th, Coach is celebrating the launch of Coach (Re)Loved with pop-up events at Coach House (685 Fifth Avenue) and South Coast Plaza.
For a limited time only selected Coach stores will host ‘The Smallest Vintage Store in the World’ the most compact pop-up. A tiny shop-in-shop containing the most coveted Coach Vintage pieces; because all good things come in small packages.
As part of the launch, Coach will be partnering with Big Crown Records, a New York independent record label to create a specialist playlist be based on reissues, vintage sounds, and dusty finds. The playlist will be the sound of all of our pop-ups. In addition, we will be selling vinyls in all of these activations worldwide.
Coach will also partner with local designers and artists for some of the furniture pieces featured within the pop-up. From the one-of-a-kind chairs made of resins to the deadstock silicone chord rugs, all of the designers featured have a focus on responsibly sourced or recycled materials. At the end of the pop-up, as part of the commitment to circularity, Coach will recycle or return everything they’ve used so it can be repurposed again.
Each pop-up will receive a limited selection of rare and exceptional bags from the archive in NYC.
