For the Autumn Winter 2026 launch at Brown Thomas’ iconic Grafton Street flagship in Dublin, Pardgroup Ireland was tasked with creating an exclusive fashion experience inside a fully operational store – from design and production through to logistics, installation, catering and event management. The brief arrived just four weeks before the event.

From shop floor to Fashion venue
In less than 10 hours, the Pardgroup team transformed the trading environment into a sophisticated fashion setting, complete with a striking catwalk, red carpet and VIP arrival area. The objective was to bring the atmosphere of an international fashion event into the Brown Thomas environment, while ensuring that every element – from lighting and AV to guest flow and catering – worked as part of one cohesive experience.
Following the fashion show, the space evolved once again into an exclusive after-show party, with DJ, AV, lighting, sound and catering creating a completely different atmosphere within the same environment. Behind the scenes, the challenge was one of coordination.
Every aspect of the project had to work together, from the initial design and production to the logistics, installation and event itself. In a live retail environment, creative ambition has to go hand in hand with operational precision.

The deadline didn’t end when the event did
But the final challenge came after the last guest had left. The entire installation had to be dismantled overnight, with the store returned to its original trading condition before Brown Thomas opened at 9:30 AM the following morning.
This meant that the overnight derig was part of the production strategy from the very beginning. Build, crew planning, logistics and dismantling all had to be considered together, working backwards from the moment the store needed to be ready for business.
For the audience, the result was designed to feel effortless.
For the production team, it required precision, planning and close coordination across every stage of the project.

Making complexity invisible
“Not all transformations need to be large-scale to make a lasting impact. The Brown Thomas Fashion Event showed how a space can be transformed overnight, combining physical changes with experiences that exceed expectations and challenge perceptions of a brand. It’s about more than changing the environment; it’s about changing how people experience and connect with the brand,” says Simon Bentley, Ireland & UK Commercial Director at Pardgroup.
For one evening, Brown Thomas became more than a store. It became a runway, a meeting point for VIP guests and a space for celebration – before returning to its everyday role overnight.
Ultimately, the most successful transformations are not measured by how much they change a space, but by how they make people feel.
