Argineering Launches RGKit Play, a Plug-and-Play Motion Control Kit for Creatives!

Argineering, the award-winning tech company, launched RGKit Play on Kickstarter. RGKit Play is a modular wireless motion control kit that gives access to videographers, stop motion artists, designers and all creatives to add tons of movement to their designs easily, instantly and affordably. The campaign reached its $50,000 funding goal in the first 18 hours and has eclipsed this goal by almost $100,000 at the time of writing.

“We’re so excited to see creatives play with movement like pros,” says David Erian, CEO & Co-Founder, “Launching RGKit Play on Kickstarter was a new chapter for us that we have been working towards, for such a long time. It’s a huge step to make RGKit Play accessible to all creatives.”

RGKit Play is a modular wireless kit of motors, light controller and sensors that lets you add tons of movements to your designs, instantly. With a phone app that makes the whole process quick and smooth. Through a simple plug-and-play process, the modules connect to each other and to the phone app wirelessly. It does not require complex wiring and electronics and it runs with zero lines of code.

RGKit Play’s accessories make it even more versatile, offering a variety of movement that go beyond linear motion and all with one motor. Videographers can easily sync their camera, subject and light movement while orchestrating an entire sequence of movements. Stop motion artists could do the same, and connect to third party apps.  In order to maintain stable and smooth movement, RGKit Play has built-in motion stability features. Through the app, the user has precise control over distance, time and speed. The Camera Slider can carry up to 11 lbs. (5kg) and moves at up to 2″ (5cm) per second.

RGKit Play’s price depends upon the selected kit. The base kit with the Kickstarter Special discount starts at $145 USD. The camera slider first appears in the RGKit Play: Content Creator kit. This kit starts at $480 with KS special pricing and there are many other kits to choose from depending the uses your animated projects require. RGKit Play is scheduled to start shipping to Kickstarter pledgers in June 2021.
