COACH
Coach popularity with Gen Z is growing. What could a third space look like? Your idea and design should take culture and community into account as well as be applicable globally.
Details to be considered while developing your project:

Physical approach that is easy to scale
All submissions must include:
Mood board & Inspiration
Written explanation of your project
Visualization for your strategy (images, sketch, renderings, drawings, floor plans etc)
Resume of the participant
Guidelines:
You can present your submission in any preferred readable format such as PDF slides, video or any other innovative format to add a personal touch. Each submission may only be made by one individual, must be entirely your own work and must not be the work of a team. Your submission must not include any elements from any other artist’s or designer’s creations, work, or pieces.
Deadline: Friday, February 27th 2026
All submissions received before Friday, February 27th, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET will be judged by WindowsWear who will determine the top five “Finalists”. Judging will be based 30% on originality, 30% on overall design aesthetics, 30% on best use of innovation, and 10% for the project explanation. Please note that students that have some form of software design skills: Sketch Up, Rhino, or any other 3D software are more eligible to be considered.
Prizes
The five finalists will be judged by Coach Global Visual Experience team, Tapestry Talent Acquisition team, and WindowsWear who will select two 1st place winners, one 2nd place winner, and one 3rd place winner between all submissions of projects from Coach.
1st Place: A paid internship with Coach brand to be completed during Summer 2026, contingent on passing a legally permissible background check and confirmation of eligibility to work in the U.S. Winner must be available for the internship for a minimum of eight (8) weeks and the internship shall not exceed twelve (12) weeks. The paid internships will be conducted on an in-person basis at Tapestry, Inc.’s HQ in New York City. No living accommodations, meals, or travel is included in this First Prize.
2nd Place: One (1) Coach bag (handbag, messenger bag, tote bag or backpack, as selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion). ARV $395
3rd Place: One (1) Coach accessory (wallet, wristlet, travel kit or other small leather good, as selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion.) ARV $95
All Finalists that are not selected as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive a Coach gift valued at $50 (valid to be used only in the U.S) and a letter congratulating them on their submission signed by Sponsor’s VP, Global Visual Experience, and/or other leaders.
Eligibility
The Challenge is open only to citizens and lawful permanent residents of the fifty (50) United States, and the District of Columbia (excluding, without limitation, Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories and possessions, and where prohibited by law), who are 18 years of age or older and who are students of an accredited college or university during the Submission Period. The Challenge is not open to students residing in the U.S. on a student visa, and/or students who have more than 3 or more years of experience working as a professional designer.
