The event, titled Valentino Cinema, took place over four nights, from January 13th to 16th, offering a curated selection of films by the iconic director Federico Fellini. Known for his rich, surreal storytelling and cinematic brilliance, Fellini’s work served as a key inspiration for Valentino’s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, for the brand’s Valentino Avant les Débuts campaign.
Set against the backdrop of Abu Dhabi’s vibrant cultural scene, the screening series delved into Fellini’s exploration of Rome and its timeless allure. The films offered a window into the cinematic landscape that has influenced not only the world of film but also art, fashion, and storytelling. Michele, drawing from the essence of Fellini’s masterpieces, infused this homage into his design language, bridging the worlds of fashion and film.
