TOSCO Studio, a material-driven design atelier based in Portugal, announces its continued evolution in handcrafted concrete surfaces and bespoke architectural pieces. Blending artisanal craftsmanship with contemporary design, TOSCO creates expressive surfaces and objects that redefine how concrete is perceived in interior and architectural spaces.

Concrete, traditionally viewed as industrial and uniform, is reimagined at TOSCO as a material of depth, colour and tactile richness. Through a carefully controlled, pigment-driven process, TOSCO develops marbled and coloured concrete surfaces that reveal organic, fluid patterns with a strong visual identity. Each piece is made to order, ensuring that no two surfaces are identical.

“We see concrete not as a neutral backdrop, but as a design element that can convey emotion, material presence and spatial narrative,” says Joana Esteves, Founder and Creative Director of TOSCO Studio.
