Sugar-Coated Sophistication: Inside the Tory Burch x BonBon NYC Pop-Up

In a burst of pastel and polish, Tory Burch teams up with BonBon NYC to unveil a whimsical yet refined pop-up experience in Manhattan — one where confection meets couture. With design and fabrication by Visual Citi, the installation fuses playful charm with engineered elegance, creating a mobile experience as sweet as it is sophisticated.

At the heart of the concept is an interplay of matte finishes and sculptural design, evoking BonBon’s candy-inspired branding while maintaining Tory Burch’s signature polish. The space features CNC-cut color-blocked panels, saturated in vibrant pastels with a quality-grade matte coating. These backdrops were not just visually striking but structurally savvy — crafted for travel without compromising shine or form.

A standout centerpiece, the Modular Candy Bench, doubles as furniture and sculpture. Built from lightweight plywood and hand-finished to a high-sheen smoothness, its interlocking candy shapes add a touch of surrealism while remaining fully practical. Designed for rapid breakdown and reassembly, it reflects the team’s commitment to beauty on the go.

Every detail was constructed with pop-up readiness in mind — from transport-safe framing to hidden connection points — ensuring that each component arrives and assembles with showroom-level precision, ready to shine under both natural and retail lighting.

With seamless joints, a matte-glam palette, and a playful spirit, the Tory Burch x BonBon experience proves that fashion doesn’t have to choose between luxe and lighthearted — it can (and should) be both.
