Rhode made a bold statement in the mountains with an oversized experiential retail moment in Big Sky, Montana, unveiling the Rhode Beauty, Perfume & Skincare Pop-Up as part of its ongoing Rhode Snow Club concept. Set against a dramatic alpine backdrop of snow-covered peaks and ski lodges, the activation transformed the destination into a branded winter playground centered around Rhode’s growing beauty universe. Produced by Arsenal New York.
At the center of the experience was a striking 17-foot-tall sculptural “R”, bringing Rhode’s signature branding to life in monumental scale. Positioned slopeside, the futuristic installation featured Rhode’s signature muted sage green palette paired with reflective chrome details and illuminated edges, creating a sleek contrast against the rugged mountain landscape. Equal parts art installation, retail destination, and photo moment, the structure quickly became a visual landmark in Big Sky.
The pop-up invited guests to step inside Rhode’s immersive world, offering curated access to the brand’s skincare, beauty, and fragrance collections in a highly designed environment. A glowing product display window showcased hero launches, while the compact interior reflected Rhode’s clean, minimalist design language with soft lighting and sculptural forms.
Designed specifically for a winter audience, the activation tapped into the growing demand for destination-based experiential retail, blending beauty with travel, hospitality, and lifestyle. By situating the pop-up directly within a ski environment, Rhode extended its brand identity beyond traditional retail into a cultural experience tailored to seasonal rituals and social sharing.
The Rhode Snow Club pop-up underscores how beauty brands are increasingly using temporary architecture and immersive storytelling to build community and brand visibility in unexpected locations. With its oversized branding, elevated design, and mountain setting, Rhode successfully translated its digital-first identity into a memorable real-world experience.
From skincare essentials to statement architecture, Rhode proved that even in the middle of ski country, branding can still be the main attraction.
