This year’s Macy’s Holiday Windows, feature storytelling from Macy’s new holiday campaign, "The Most Wonderful Stories Start Here", celebrating Macy's firsts through out the years, and unexpected moments that define the season.
Macy’s has delivered so many first holiday experiences and moments in our customer’s lives and this year, our window displays feature a series of “firsts” celebrating Macy’s holiday traditions, including Santa Claus’s arrival in 1862, the original window displays from 1874, Macy's move from 14th St to Herald Square in 1902, the first Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1924, a nod to the "Miracle On 34th Street" movie which was filmed in Macy's in 1947, and a crowd favorite a Holiday Sing-A-Long window.
