BMO set design
We recently had the honour to collaborate with the Enercare Centre here in Toronto and BrandTalk Media INC for its annual Collision Conference. The conference featured speakers such as Justin Trudeau, Seth Rogan, and John Tory. Engineered Arts had the pleasure of designing and building a custom display for BMO Canada for their Women in Tech lounge. The purpose of the set design was to deliver a powerful message about the role of women in the field of technology. It also shone a light on BMO’s dedication to empowering women in STEM. Inspired by the BMO logo, our design concept was red, blue, and shades in between. What started as a 3D visualization ended up as an immersive experience in real life. We had a clear idea of the stage’s setup, layout, and floorplan. And from there on out, conceptualization was nonstop. Our team worked hard to make a vision come to life. We first created a 3D layout of the BMO section, considering every aspect, from the attendees. The stage structure consisted of four panes facing the back of the stage and 4 more facing the front, all branded with the BMO logo. The four front panes served as a backdrop for the panel of speakers who shared their words of wisdom with the audience.
