Galeries Lafayette Holiday Window
Inspired by our traditional Corporate gingerbread house decorating contest, the display features Santa in his sleigh traveling across the night sky from New York City to Paris, soaring over iconic buildings and monuments in both cities, from the Statue of Liberty to the Louvre Pyramid. “This magical window in one of the most iconic department stores in the world is the perfect way to celebrate our brand and increase awareness not just with Parisians but also with a more international audience,” said Andrea Allegretti, VP Retail EUME. Located next to one of the primary entrances to the store, the diorama provided a festive backdrop for an assortment of our shoes, handbags and small leather goods, including two styles exclusive to department store this season – the Eleanor Crystal Ballet and the Eleanor Shoulder Bag in Classic Taupe. The whimsical scene also tied back to Galeries Lafayette’s creative concept for the season—three children discovering a secret door leading directly to the North Pole—and aligned with the travel theme behind our Holiday campaign while underscoring the connection between Paris and New York, two of Tory’s favorite cities. “We have been seeing a great response from the public—our window is definitely attracting everyone’s attention in the street!” noted Michela Manenti, Sr. Manager, International Visual, who spearheaded the initiative from concept to execution.
