Aura Heath Centre of Excellene :Acute Healthcare Centre Design

The Aura Health Centre of Excellence located in Windsor, ON was designed to enrich the acute care environment for patients, visitors and staff. Doing so by providing human-centered design towards care environments. Overall providing a facility that evokes a sense of understanding and provide easier way finding for patients and visitors. The surgical suite department concept was drawn and inspired by retro design in a resimercial approach. Emphasizing the sense of comfort and a "home like" space throughout the healthcare environment. The radiology unit concept was drawn and inspired by organic design in a holistic approach. Creating an experience that contributes a sense of wellbeing for all users.
