Alexander Wang's Shanghai APM was the first store to launch the current worldwide retail concept which is an evolution of the NY and Beijing FSS.
Black and white contrast by the use of Italian white Carrara marble and the black Nero Marquina marble accentuating the space mainly defined by black and white surface with accents of polished bronze metal. The marble is used to create illuminated niches that hold and frame the product. Balance of light & heavy with floating shelving units hover over white Carrara marble pedestals.
Flooring and ceiling balance the composition of the space by bringing more raw and industrial elements like the concrete flooring and the exposed lighting grid on the black ceiling
