Dufry, the Swiss based Travel Retailer approached Creative Download as they identified that an in-store VM communication strategy was required in order to drive the business forward and to give the business a cohesive look with all their stores. This project included store visits to identify an action plan in terms of store layout/presentation, customers navigation, signage, graphics and promotional areas. Visual Merchandising Guidelines were also compiled and VM training sessions were given to both shop floor staff and local VM teams across stores in Greece, Morocco, Switzerland, France, Spain and Italy.
With the growth of travel retail, customers expectations are changing, and they are also wanting the same customer service and store experience as they would find in their local shopping malls. “As long as you have Visual Merchandising strategy in place” says Iain, “it is quite easy to do a ‘roll out’ to other stores worldwide”
