Restaurant Wall Graphics
The recent project we did for Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is such a good example of when a great idea turns into an amazing finished product. The designers for ACFP had a “gallery wall” conceptualized for this space, but they wanted it to be non-traditional – they did not want all sandwich frames, and preferred that the art had varying levels of dimension without being in the way of the diners who might be seated below. The solution was a 23’ x 12’ wall of printed PhotoTex to mimic a gallery, layering pieces of polished acrylic overtop, secured with screws and standoff “caps” to give the look of sandwich frames also but without the bulk. This pizza chain wanted the ability to change out a few of the photos to include some with local appeal, therefore we created a handful of actual sandwich frames for these images, which doubled as a way to create some interesting dimension as well by allowing them to set off from the PhotoTex. Finally, the three focal points of the wall – the Anthony’s quotes – were printed direct to black Sintra and finished with standoff hardware that was custom-painted in the “Anthony’s Red” accent color.
