Commissioned by Macy’s, Duggal Visual Solutions transformed the lower level of Macy’s Herald Square into Holiday Square—a festive indoor market designed and fabricated entirely in-house, from concept inception to installation. Duggal’s creative and production teams managed every stage, including structural design, lighting, and on-site project management, to craft a fully immersive shopping experience.
The installation featured 50 custom-built wooden huts, forming a cohesive marketplace where each participating brand added its own holiday branding. Duggal also produced the market’s signature lighting system, illuminated navigational signage, and two photo-moment builds—a 10-foot ski nutcracker sculpture and a chalet-style bench scene complete with a red ski gondola.
Combining precision fabrication, set design, and lighting artistry, Duggal delivered a warm, color-rich environment celebrating the spirit of the holidays inside one of New York City’s most iconic stores.
