Celebration of the Chinese New Year; 2018 Year of the Dog. We create merchandise displays typically on our Main & Fashion floors, which then are great backgrounds for our Eventing that occurs throughout the timeline. Events include Dragon Dance, painting on rice, etc. We do these displays every year, the true challenge is how we interpret and bring the animal to life for the customers. This year with the dog, we wanted to play on a layering system to build up the Dog and give him a 3D appearance. Truly a challenge to make him look beautiful from all angles, but we have found that customers luv to interact with them and take selfies, so definitely work it. It took a lot of mini version samples to truly get down to the one that works.
