Scholarship Fundraiser Event
My students were asked to create an immersive display for the SUNY GCC Foundation's annual scholarship fundraiser event. With $0 budget and the 1950's movie "White Christmas" as a required theme, visual merchandising students created this walk trough "Tree Farm" featuring fashion design students' Christmas inspired designs. Lighting helped illuminate the walkway and the garments. The final look was a white gown with crystals grown on the fabric.
