Carolina Herrera Madison Avenue
Carolina Herrera has unveiled its revamped Manhattan flagship on Madison Avenue. The three-level, 6,900-SF store was reimagined by an elite design team that included architecture firm Spacesmith, designer Chiara de Rege, and Studio Mellone. Drawing inspiration from the Herrera archives, the redesign incorporates bright notes of pink, fuchsia, and turquoise. A blush pink covers the refreshed store’s Venetian plaster walls beneath glossy ceilings and the stately staircase. The updated location accommodates women’s apparel across the ground floor, while additional fragrances and fashion are housed on the second floor via a curved staircase. A bridal salon is featured on the third floor, lined with blush-toned furnishings. The space also features six fitting rooms outfitted in vivid macaron-like hues with bespoke bullion fringe and velvet chaises, travertine-and-brass demilune tables, velvet ribbon trimming the walls, and state-of-the-art lighting built into the mirrors. Also featured is a custom chandelier composed of pink Venini art glass flowers, as well as the installation of arched niches to double as clothing and fragrance displays throughout the space. It’s truly a sight to see. Architect: Spacesmith.
