With budget cuts, art classes are disappearing more and more from schools. The Traveling Studioette will travel to NYC schoolyards, for students to have access to tools, materials, and instructors to create expressive art that aligns with their educational curriculum. The Traveling Studioette specifically targets an interactive a puppet-making experience for children ages 5-10. Students can explore the themes and ideas from class literary readings, create physical renditions of their understanding of characters and express their creativity.
