Barcelona is the latest fashion capital to have its fashion window displays featured on WindowsWear.

WindowsWear, the window shopping and fashion trend website that features the worldÂ’s fashion windows online in real-time, has launched in Barcelona. Global Language Monitor ranked Barcelona as the third Top Global Fashion Capital of the world in 2012. The city joins other fashion capitals including New York, Paris, Milan, and London that are showcased for audiences worldwide.

“We are pleased to add Barcelona to our site. The Spanish culture is unlike any other and we are delighted to bring their stunning fashion windows to a global audience. Their windows are simply amazing. We look forward to further expanding the cities we cover in the coming months," said Jon Harari, CEO.

WindowsWear features the premier shopping districts in Barcelona including Ciutat Vella, Eixample Derecho, Eixample Izquierdo, and Les Corts. "Some of the most important and biggest retailers are based in Spain, and we believe our members will enjoy and benefit tremendously by understanding the latest trends in Barcelona. There’s no doubt, fashion windows in Spain demonstrate a compelling proficiency in fashion retailing and competitors will ignore them at their own peril,” said Mike Niemtzow, President & CFO.

With the Barcelona launch, WindowsWear adds new stores to the site such as Agatha Ruiz De La Prada, Bershka, Bimba & Lola, Cortefiel, Deulofeu, Dolores Promesas, El Corte Inglés, Etxart & Panno, Gratacos, and Stradivarius, among others. Additionally, numerous global fashion brands that it already covers in other cities but are headquartered in Spain will now have their window displays photographed in their home country, such as Adolfo Dominguez, Custo Barcelona, Desigual, Loewe, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear, and Zara, among others.
