Plastimark SpA – AluNova Basket Material and Luma Retail Trolley Systems

Plastimark SpA presented several retail equipment developments during EuroShop 2026 in Düsseldorf, focusing on material innovation and product design for shopping baskets and trolleys.

One of the products highlighted was a range of shopping baskets manufactured using Eco-Compound AluNova, a material developed in collaboration with Tetra Pak. The material is designed to incorporate recycled components and is associated with a measurable Product Carbon Footprint (PCF).

Alongside the AluNova basket range, Plastimark introduced the 130L Luma trolley, a full-plastic modular shopping trolley designed for retail environments. The trolley system features a modular structure intended to support different configurations and operational requirements.

Discussions with retailers and partners during the exhibition focused on material selection, product durability, and the role of production processes in retail equipment design.

EuroShop 2026 provided an opportunity for Plastimark to present these product developments and engage with industry participants on topics related to materials, manufacturing approaches, and retail equipment design.
