Rework Project
The Rework Project is about using found objects or materials to create a window display for high-end stores. Every item must not be a new or second-hand purchase. I found metallic rolls of paper in a storage room in my college and came up with a concept from using that material. My concept is ' Welcome to the New'. Creating three different size frames to display different products. The frame is covered with the found material. Making the metallic paper into something new. My vision was to let the mannequin walk halfway out of a frame so it was like she is coming into a New. The whole colour palette is pink, black, silver, and purple. the outfit was turning an old blazer jacket into a new look. I manipulate the whole jacket and pinned the sleeves. I made a giant bow from scraps of fabric to add some texture and drama. The concept is to attract you to all the display products showcased in the window and give you a futuristic effect, creating fun. The three different size frames are to create a flow and contrast to the whole composition. By adding an extra long piece of paper popping out of the frame to create a more dramatic effect.
