FCS Teacher Conference! Sept 9 - 12, 2021

Ever wonder where your students might work as the result of your FAID pathway instruction?  The event is being tailored to introduce you to knowledge and technical skills related to the business of fashion–retail design, production management, visual merchandising and costuming as aligned to the Kansas FAID pathway standards and competencies.  Go behind the scenes at design houses,  analyze the windows of NYC fashion icons and gain real-world experiences you can use in your classroom.  Curriculum development discussions (to align your NYC experience to the competencies of the Kansas FAID pathway) will take place during this event.

The registration package fee is $1,500.00 and includes all costs (including meals, entrance fees, tour guides, and travel while in NYC) except lodging and initial travel to NYC from Kansas.  Registration is open February 1st through May 1st.  There are limited spaces for this special Kansas Family & Consumer Sciences teachers event so registering early is recommended.

Once you register an invoice will be sent to you to secure your spot!
