Harrods has unveiled a striking series of technology-themed windows designed by Harlequin Design, transforming the iconic Knightsbridge façade into a vibrant showcase of innovation and luxury. Each window is bathed in a bold gradient of color—radiant pink, vivid green, and deep red—creating a visually rhythmic display that draws attention even from afar. The installation highlights a curated selection of premium tech brands, including Therabody, Bang & Olufsen, and Leica, each presented in its own immersive monochromatic world.
Harlequin Design’s approach is minimalist yet dramatically theatrical. Products are displayed on tiered plinths within sculptural backdrops, allowing each item to appear as a collectible object of desire rather than just a functional device. The lighting is essential to the narrative—soft diffused glows and uplighting enhance depth and shadow, while the saturated color palettes create strong moods for each brand: wellness and recovery in pink for Therabody, innovation and clarity in green for Bang & Olufsen, and precision craftsmanship in passionate red for Leica.
Above, Harrods’ historic architecture frames the contemporary installations with ornate ironwork and soft exterior lighting, creating a dynamic contrast between tradition and modernity. By blending futuristic product storytelling with elegant design discipline, Harroquin Design turns the windows into a cinematic journey through the world of luxury technology. It’s not just a display—it’s an experience, capturing how tech has become a lifestyle, a status symbol, and a design object in its own right.
