Gentle Monster has opened in Manila its first boutique in the Philippines. The new flagship, which carries the complete product lines of the brand, is located at Shangri-La The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The brand is known for its experimentation and innovation and it’s evident with the interior of the whole place. A sculpture of ‘The Giant’ that sits atop a destructed architectural reinterpretation of FREDERIK HEYMAN’s 3D artwork greets customers as they walk in, and the unique retail experience continues throughout the store with the different intricately placed art pieces.
The Manila flagship brings the brand’s innovative brick-and-mortar concept to the tropics, introducing a highly visual shopping experience to the Philippine crowd. Uncanny installations are peppered across the shop floor, but they don’t take away from the eyewear displays—in fact, they serve to elevate.
The boutique will feature the exclusive restock of the Maison Margiela collection which will only be available at Gentle Monster PH on its public opening on the 17th. “The collection presents Gentle Monster’s original eyewear designs incorporating real threaded details of Maison Margiela’s stitch logo, embodying the brand’s value of uncompromised creativity and self-expression.”
