DWD Concepts – Lighting Systems for Retail and Point-of-Sale Displays

DWD Concepts develops LED lighting systems used in point-of-sale displays, shopfitting, and interior retail environments. For approximately 20 years, the company has focused on integrating lighting into retail displays and furniture systems.

The company’s systems are designed to conceal technical components such as power supplies, power rails, and LED elements within display structures. Production of these components takes place in-house in Dortmund, Germany.

Originally working primarily with shopfitting companies, DWD Concepts now also collaborates with retail brands on lighting concepts intended to support product presentation and brand visibility in store environments.

The company’s product portfolio includes lighting systems for shelves and POS furniture, LED logos and signage, and illuminated frames. At EuroShop 2026, DWD Concepts presented developments including lighting systems connected to digital signage and applications involving artificial intelligence for in-store shelving systems.

According to the company, its work focuses on combining engineering and lighting design in retail display environments.
