Kate Spade 2024 WindowsWear Mentorship Winners!

WindowsWear kicked off its 2024 Mentorship Program in partnership with Kate Spade, by inviting students to share their concepts for Kate Spade’s “perfectly imperfect immersive experience that will attract new customers and gen Z consumers ”, highlighting retail, design, marketing, and technology strategies. On April 15, 2024, Kate Spade and WindowsWear invited the ten finalists to celebrate at Kate Spade headquarters in New York City with a special tour of the leather atelier and a visit to the archives collection. The top finalists presented their project to the Tapestry Global Visual Experience team and Talent Acquisition team and WindowsWear team, who selected one 1st place winner, one 2nd place winner, and one 3rd place winner that will win paid internships for the summer 2024 and other prizes.

Meet The Winners

Congratulations To Morgan Rogers From SCAD And For 1st Place, Sharanya Saripalli From The New School For 2nd Place, And Christian Hooser From The New School 3rd Place!

All Finalists that were not selected as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners received a Kate Spade gift and a letter congratulating them on their submission signed by Sponsor’s VP, Global Visual Experience, and other leaders.

Several finalists proposed immersive pop-up shops, innovative tech-elements, sustainability, personalized shopping experiences, artistic collaborations, and dynamic visual merchandising concepts. As the retail landscape continues to evolve, these top ten finalists have demonstrated that the future lies in embracing imperfections, celebrating uniqueness, and crafting immersive experiences that resonate with the diverse preferences of today.

The WindowsWear Mentorship Program connects brands with students from around the world! Brands present brief ideas to students to identify top talent, and students submit projects to win paid internships and prizes from Coach, and Kate Spade!
