Coach Celebrates Rexy’s 10th Birthday with a Monochromatic Green Pop-Up at Isetan Tokyo

Coach brings a bold, playful energy to Isetan Shinjuku The Stage with its latest pop-up installation—an immersive, monochromatic green takeover created to celebrate a major milestone: the 10th anniversary of its beloved mascot, Rexy.

Anchored by an oversized 3D dinosaur sculpture, the space transforms The Stage into a vibrant, high-impact environment that feels both surreal and unmistakably Coach. Rendered entirely in shades of green, the installation leans into a single-color concept that amplifies visual cohesion while allowing the brand’s signature codes to shine through in a fresh, unexpected way.

At the center of the experience is Rexy—reimagined at monumental scale and multiplied throughout the space in smaller iterations, inviting visitors to explore and interact. The playful prompt, “How many green Rexy can you spot?”, turns the installation into a visual scavenger hunt, encouraging engagement and discovery from every angle.

Alongside the installation, Coach introduces a curated assortment of its iconic Tabby bags, paired with exclusive gifting available only at this location. The product offering is seamlessly integrated into the environment, blurring the line between retail and exhibition and reinforcing the brand’s ability to merge storytelling with commerce.

The pop-up reflects Coach’s continued investment in experiential retail, where physical spaces become vehicles for narrative and brand identity. By celebrating Rexy’s decade-long presence through a fully immersive concept, Coach not only honors its heritage but also repositions a familiar symbol within a contemporary, culturally driven context.

In Tokyo, a city known for its appetite for bold retail expression, Coach’s Rexy installation stands out as both a tribute and a statement—proof that even a single color, when executed with intention, can create a world of impact.
