For his first collection at the house of CHANEL, Matthieu Blazy looked to the stars. Under the glass dome of the Grand Palais, the Spring/Summer 2026 show unfolded as a dreamlike journey through the cosmos — an homage to Gabrielle Chanel’s enduring fascination with the sky, the moon, and the constellations above.
Suspended planet-like orbs floated overhead, glowing softly against a mirrored runway that reflected the light like stardust. The set — conceived as a “universal dream outside of time” — transformed the iconic Paris venue into a modern observatory of movement, emotion, and light.
“I wanted something universal, something that makes us all look up,” said Blazy. “We all observe the same sky — it provokes the same emotions in us.”
The atmosphere was at once futuristic and romantic: a symphony of cosmic lighting, fluid silhouettes, and quiet grandeur. With this debut, Blazy signaled a new era for CHANEL — one that merges timeless craftsmanship with celestial imagination, reminding the world that the house still dreams among the stars.
