CASABLANCA x KaDeWe Berlin & Oberpollinger Munich

Luxury retail is no longer confined to rails and shelving — it is choreography, materiality, and atmosphere. In Berlin and Munich, CASABLANCA’s latest shop-in-shop activations unfold as immersive brand worlds, carefully composed within two of Germany’s most prestigious department stores.

Set inside the storied halls of KaDeWe in Berlin and Oberpollinger in Munich, the dual installations reinterpret the department store format through a distinctly CASABLANCA lens — one that merges sport-luxe ease with architectural confidence and saturated visual identity.

Sculpting a Brand in Space

CASABLANCA’s aesthetic has always thrived on juxtaposition: elegance meets athleticism, nostalgia meets futurism. Translating that energy into a physical environment required more than fit-out — it demanded spatial storytelling.

B_RD’s creative direction reframed the shop-in-shop as a contained universe. Custom wall clads form bold architectural backdrops, while precision vinyl wraps extend graphic narratives across vertical planes. LED signage introduces a subtle luminosity, ensuring the brand’s presence resonates from a distance, glowing against the neutral rhythm of the department store floor.

Underfoot, bespoke carpet softens the environment and anchors the experience in texture. Metal-fabricated rails punctuate the space with sculptural clarity — both functional and refined. Even the seating becomes part of the visual language: bespoke designed chairs that feel as intentional as the garments themselves.

Together, these elements transform the retail footprint into a curated stage set — confident yet controlled, expressive yet disciplined.
