At Selfridges, Golden Goose takes over the iconic Corner Shop with its immersive “Archive of Dreams” pop-up—an experiential retail concept that places craftsmanship, community, and personalization at its core.
Designed as an intimate, Italy-infused environment, the space draws inspiration from the brand’s Venetian headquarters and artisanal heritage. Salvaged wood walls, vintage furnishings, and curated archival objects create a layered, nostalgic atmosphere—blending old-world charm with contemporary retail storytelling.
At the heart of the installation is “Co-Creation,” a hands-on personalization experience where visitors collaborate directly with Golden Goose “Dream Makers.” Here, sneakers, ready-to-wear, and accessories are transformed through patches, charms, embroidery, and hand-painted details—turning each product into a one-of-a-kind expression of individuality.
Surrounding this central activation, the pop-up unfolds as a series of experiential moments. The “Con Amore” corner reimagines the art of gifting through floral-inspired displays, offering personalized wrapping, ribbons, and curated details alongside coffee, sweets, and fresh flowers—encouraging visitors to linger and engage.
Product remains integral to the experience, with a rotating weekly assortment of ready-to-wear, bags, boots, and the brand’s signature distressed sneakers, including limited-edition and archival pieces. A standout highlight is the exclusive preview of the True-Star sneaker, reinforcing the space as both a retail destination and a platform for discovery.
More than a pop-up, the installation reflects a broader shift in luxury retail—where participation outweighs transaction. By inviting customers to co-create, customize, and connect, Golden Goose transforms the store into a living workshop, aligning with Selfridges’ ongoing vision of retail as experience-driven and community-led.
In this context, the “Archive of Dreams” becomes less about selling products and more about building emotional connection—proving that the future of retail lies not just in what customers buy, but in what they create.
