Congratulations To The Winners Of The 2021 WindowsWear Mentorship Program!

WindowsWear kicked off its 2021 Mentorship Program in partnership with Coach and Kate Spade, by inviting students to share their concepts for “Store of the Future”, highlighting retail, design, marketing, and technology strategies. On April 26, 2020, Coach, Kate Spade and WindowsWear invited the top ten finalists to celebrate.

Meet The Finalists

 

Congratulations To Paige Gracz from Indiana University and Tarek Meah From University College London For Winning First Place!

Paige and Tarek will receive a paid internship at Coach and Kate Spade during Summer 2021. Vanna Wilke and Riley Berner, 2nd and 3rd place respectively will receive one Coach or Kate Spade bag and accessories.

Prizes:

First Prize: 1 paid internship with the Coach brand or 1 paid internship with the Kate Spade New York brand to be completed during Summer 2021, contingent on passing a legally permissible background check and confirmation of eligibility to work in the U.S. (The paid internships will be conducted strictly on a remote basis and each first prize winner must be available for the internship for a minimum of eight (8) weeks and the internship shall not exceed twelve (12) weeks).

Second Prize: One Coach or Kate Spade New York bag (handbag, messenger bag, tote bag or backpack as selected by sponsor with value of up to $395)

Third Prize: One Coach or Kate Spade New York accessory (wallet, wristlet, travel kit or other small leather good as selected by sponsor with value of up to $95)

All Ten Finalists: A Coach or Kate Spade New York gift valued at $50 and a letter congratulating them on their submission signed by VP, Global Visual Experience, and/or other leaders at Coach & Kate Spade New York.

WindowsWear kicked off its 2021 Mentorship Program in partnership with Michael Kors, by inviting students to share their concepts for Michael Kors’ 40th anniversary “Reimagine Our Store In a Healthy World” campaign, highlighting retail, design, marketing, and technology strategies.

The objective of the contest was to take Michael’s vision and combine it with the company’s goal to drive a positive environment and social change keeping in mind the impact that the operations can have on the environment and the well-being of others.

Congratulations To Tran Truong From Marymount University For Winning First Place!

Tran will receive a paid internship at Michael Kors in the store design and visual merchandising team at their headquarters in New York City during Summer 2021.  All ten finalists will receive one Michael Kors bag, as selected by sponsors in their sole discretion, valued at $300.
