Moncler Launches Out Of This World Campaign

Enlisting the talents of Paris-based art director Golgotha, the latest promo by Moncler sees two intrepid space explorers come into contact with extra-terrestrial life leading to unexpected encounters of the absurd kind. Dubbed ‘Moonray’, a clever homage to B-Science Fiction films, the video short for the Moncler AW17 collection sees the two models decked out in some of the French brand’’s signature padded down jackets.

Moncler has launched the new editorial theme MOONRAY with a 3-minute short film shot as a B-Movie. The plot follows the classical current of these films and is based on the fear of aliens and Earth invasion that becomes, through engrossing narrative, into a more ironic vision of how all – human and extraterrestrials – are looking for the same thing: a Moncler garment.

MOONRAY is not a conventional fashion film but serves as an ironical showcase of the Moncler MOONRAY editorial theme. From the silver jacket takes place the fight beyond the Moon, in the frozen planet Glaglax, of the star girl and boy heroes against the alien.

The real stars of the film are the jackets: humans and aliens face themselves and fight for a Moncler garment, crossing the limits of the earth to reach space.
