Summer heat lingers over Milan long after sunset.
At the corner of Via Sant’Andrea and Via della Spiga, Miu Miu offers a sudden sense of cool.
There is no beach behind the glass.
No sand.
No palm trees.
Instead, blue fades into white like the last light of evening. Translucent acrylic rises across the foreground, its milky-blue surface catching the spotlights like water in motion.
The sky remains behind.
The sea gathers in front.
The mannequins stand somewhere between them.
Raffia totes and woven bags seem to float above the surface.
The clothes carry the same lightness.
Tobacco suede rests over fine lace. Crinkled cotton falls without stiffness. Hand-crocheted dresses leave room for air and light to pass through.
Nothing insists on becoming the centre.
Across Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2026 world, the same horizon keeps returning: from the pale blue and sage runway to the open skies of On Cloud Nine and the sunlit sea of l’Été.
Miu Miu was once remembered first in pink.
This summer, blue remains.
Less sweetness.
More distance.
More room to imagine what comes next.
Growing up is left undefined, somewhere between the known shore and an unfinished horizon.
