Milan Windows 12 | Miu Miu's Half-Dream Between Sea and Sky Milan feels hotter than ever this summer. Even after sunset, the warmth still lingers between Via Sant'Andrea and Via della Spiga. Then, at the corner, Miu Miu brings a welcome sense of cool. No beach. No palm trees. Instead, gradients. Light. Texture. A horizon quietly unfolds between sea and sky. Soft blue fades into white. Translucent acrylic catches the light like rippling water. From different angles, raffia totes and woven bags seem to float on the surface. You almost hear the sea. The collection carries the same feeling. Suede over lace. Crinkled cotton. Hand-crocheted textures. Raffia and woven leather holding the warmth of a summer long remembered. Nothing asks to be the centre of attention. Everything drifts effortlessly between sea and sky. Looking back at Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2026, this landscape has been there all along. From the pale blue and sage green runway... To the endless sky of On Cloud Nine... To l'Été, where sea, sunlight and the horizon quietly become one. Blue is no longer simply a colour. It becomes a way of imagining what comes next. For years, Miu Miu has been remembered for its iconic pink. This summer, however, it is blue that stays with me. Less sweetness. A little more ease. A little more room to look towards the horizon. Miu Miu never rushes to define what growing up should look like. Somewhere between sea and sky, it simply leaves space for curiosity. For imagination. For whatever comes next. Perhaps that is Miu Miu's half-dream between sea and sky.
