Prince Charming Debuts at Saks Fifth Avenue & Cinderella Gets Her Dream Wardrobe, Displays Created by SFD

Disney collaborates with Saks Fifth Avenue and launches its new Cinderella fairy tale shoe collection. Prince Charming displays created by SFD.

Just ahead of the release of Disney`s live action film Cinderella, legendary design houses like Ferragamo, Jimmy Choo, and Nicholas Kirkwood created nine pairs of glass slipper-inspired heels. For the little princess in every woman, these shoes are the perfect way to make a dream become true.

Known for their special and unique window displays, Saks Fifth Avenue made this collaboration with Disney even more magical by revealing their Cinderella windows created by SFD. Inspired by the original animated movie, the visual merchandising team created an environment embracing the fairy tale atmosphere of Cinderella. Prince Charming’s arms hold pillow cases and display one-of-a-kind accessories. Chandeliers and a dark wooden background make the scene complete.

WindowsWear PRO took a behind-the-scenes look at the design process. See below the initial sketch of the display and a look at the inter-workings of the mechanical arms and cuffs. Exclusive images below provided by SFD .

The fairy tale continues throughout all the window displays at Saks Fifth Avenue. The romantic and dreamy scenery is caught by presenting the glass slipper-inspired heels in glass cages in front of a wild background full of roses and bushes.

Saks Fifth Avenue also displayed amazing window displays showing the actual Cinderella dress and the gorgeous Fairy Godmother’s gown which were actually worn in the movie.
