FARM Rio Brings the Spirit of Brazil to Saint-Tropez with L’Épicerie Pop-Up Market

Published July 27, 2026

FARM Rio is transporting the vibrant energy of Brazil to the French Riviera with the launch of L’Épicerie, an immersive street market pop-up at the iconic Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez. Running from July 23–26, the activation opens twice daily, inviting locals and international visitors to experience the sights, colors, and spirit of a traditional Rio de Janeiro feira in one of Europe’s most celebrated summer destinations.

Designed as more than a retail pop-up, L’Épicerie transforms the bustling square into a Brazilian-inspired marketplace where fashion, culture, and community intersect. Reflecting FARM Rio’s signature aesthetic, the temporary installation blends handcrafted details, tropical influences, and joyful storytelling to create an environment that celebrates the brand’s roots while engaging visitors through an immersive shopping experience.

The activation underscores FARM Rio’s continued investment in experiential retail as the brand expands its international presence. Since receiving investment from L Catterton in 2019, the Brazilian fashion label has accelerated its global growth, establishing a strong foothold across Europe and the United States. Today, FARM Rio operates more than 100 stores worldwide, with experiential concepts playing an increasingly important role in introducing new audiences to the brand’s distinctive identity beyond the traditional boutique.

Saint-Tropez provides an ideal backdrop for the initiative. Each summer, the French Riviera attracts a concentrated audience of luxury travelers and international shoppers seeking exclusive experiences alongside premium fashion and lifestyle offerings. By activating one of the destination’s most recognizable public spaces, FARM Rio positions itself at the intersection of tourism, culture, and retail, creating a memorable encounter that extends well beyond the point of purchase.

The market-inspired concept also reflects a broader evolution in contemporary retail. Fashion brands are increasingly embracing temporary installations, destination pop-ups, and culturally driven activations to deepen customer engagement and create meaningful brand experiences. Rather than simply showcasing products, these environments immerse visitors in a brand’s story through design, atmosphere, and interaction.

Research continues to support this strategy. According to McKinsey & Company, experiential retail can generate up to 30% higher customer engagement than conventional retail formats, highlighting the growing importance of immersive brand experiences in today’s competitive marketplace. At the same time, tourism continues to fuel opportunities for luxury retail destinations. France welcomed more than 100 million international visitors in 2023, reinforcing the country’s position as one of the world’s leading travel markets and creating fertile ground for experiential activations in high-profile resort locations.

With L’Épicerie, FARM Rio demonstrates how cultural storytelling can become a powerful retail tool. By recreating the warmth and vibrancy of a Brazilian street market in the heart of Saint-Tropez, the brand offers visitors an authentic expression of its identity while reinforcing its global expansion through experience-led retail. The activation serves as a compelling example of how destination-based pop-ups continue to reshape the relationship between fashion, place, and consumer engagement.
