Created to celebrate Jonathan Anderson’s latest collection, the new window displays reinterpret the timeless codes of classical Parisian architecture through a surrealist perspective. Elegant moldings and subtle references to the eighteenth century create a sophisticated backdrop, inviting visitors into a dreamlike world where heritage meets contemporary creativity.
At the heart of the scenography are Dior’s iconic Médaillon chairs—symbols deeply rooted in the House’s history, having furnished Christian Dior’s very first boutique, Colifichets. Reimagined as artistic protagonists, the chairs are stacked into whimsical houses of cards and gravity-defying towers, creating playful compositions that challenge perception and scale. Some are transformed into monumental sculptures, becoming oversized seats for mannequins showcasing Jonathan Anderson’s Fall–Winter 2026–2027 creations.
Adding another layer of refinement, the Médaillon chairs are dressed in vibrant moiré fabrics or delicately embroidered with tiny flowers, evolving into sculptural display pieces that beautifully present Dior’s latest accessories and ready-to-wear collections.
