The Corner Store x DoorDash in New York

The Corner Store partnered with DoorDash to launch an experiential pop-up in New York, bringing the restaurant’s signature aesthetic to life through a highly detailed temporary retail and dining concept designed by Arsenal New York.

Located in New York City, the activation promoted Olio’s Lunchbox, an exclusive DoorDash offering featuring The Corner Store’s popular Wagyu French Dip alongside curated menu favorites and branded extras. The collaboration proved so successful that an additional pop-up date was quickly added for May 14, with reservations made available through DoorDash.

Designed as an extension of The Corner Store’s recognizable interior identity, the installation translated the brand’s elevated downtown atmosphere into a fully immersive physical environment. Arsenal New York executed the space with premium materiality and hospitality-driven detailing, including primed and finished Baltic birch millwork, a fluted green bar accented with Chemetal trim details, marble countertops, and a billow fabric ceiling that softened the overall architectural composition.

Dimensional brass logos reinforced brand presence throughout the space, creating a polished visual language that felt consistent with The Corner Store’s established identity while remaining highly shareable for social-first audiences.

The temporary installation demonstrates how food and delivery brands continue to leverage experiential retail and hospitality-driven design to deepen consumer engagement beyond digital platforms. By pairing exclusive menu offerings with a thoughtfully designed physical experience, The Corner Store and DoorDash created a pop-up that blurred the line between restaurant branding, retail design, and cultural moment.
