PricoPlex – Counter Equipment and Product Developments for the Meat Retail Sector

February was trade show month for the PricoPlex team. Whether at the Meat Congress in Königswinter or EuroShop in Düsseldorf, networking and industry exchange were central to the company’s participation.

The team first presented its products at the 34th German Meat Congress in Königswinter, before continuing to EuroShop in Düsseldorf, one of the largest international trade fairs for retail solutions.

Meat Stars 2026 use PricoPlex products

The 2026 German Meat Star awards ceremony in Königswinter, which recognizes outstanding meat counters, also highlighted the presence of PricoPlex products in several winning stores.

The Rewe Pfleger store in St. Augustin, which won the category for the smallest stores, uses partial PricoPlex equipment. The Edeka store in Jestetten (small stores category), Rewe Haase in Neustadt in Holstein (medium-sized stores category), and the Rewe Center Egelsbach (large stores category) are extensively equipped with PricoPlex products.

International interest in PricoPlex Counter Trays

Following the congress, the team continued to EuroShop in Düsseldorf, where visitors from different international markets explored the company’s counter solutions.

“The audience was very diverse, and visitors came from all over the world,” Zanoni noted after the trade show. Among the visitors were professionals from supermarkets and butcher shops who discussed potential projects and future applications for PricoPlex counter equipment.

Potential partners from around the world

Particular attention was drawn to the GRACE series, along with the STONE finish and Petrol color.

Between conversations with shopfitters, counter suppliers, and butchers at the booth, Zanoni and Managing Director Christian Priebe also explored the wider exhibition, which brought together 1,840 exhibitors from 61 countries.

The event offered opportunities to reconnect with partners and discuss potential collaborations. Zanoni also met with representatives from the Ukrainian shopfitter Modern Expo, with whom PricoPlex already shares clients such as Mix Märkte in Germany. Discussions also continued with the shopfitter Schweitzer from South Tyrol, following earlier conversations at the Meat Congress.

From GRACE to Leberkäse molds

In Königswinter, one product from the PricoPlex portfolio attracted particular attention: the Leberkäse mold. The mold also generated interest at EuroShop, where visitors suggested additional applications. For example, the Spanish partner Anguera Maquinària proposed using it for baking ham, while others noted its potential use for pâté preparation.
