D’art Design – “Digging Deeper” as a Spatial Design Concept

No overload of shapes and no continuous visual noise – only a clear position: understanding comes from digging deeper.

DIGGING DEEPER is presented as both a trade fair concept and a design principle. It reflects an approach to brand environments that focuses on exploring complexity rather than reducing it to simplified messages.

The stand expresses this idea through a deliberately restrained design language: one colour, one shape, and two materials. With only a few components, the installation forms a defined spatial environment in which architecture becomes part of the narrative.

Inside the structure, LED walls positioned within steel grid cages present visual content focused on the relationship between content, space, and experience. The visuals demonstrate how these elements interact within brand environments.

At the centre of the stand, an interactive sandbox installation invites visitors to engage with the concept physically. As participants dig into the sand, projections respond to the depth of each movement, gradually revealing additional content. The installation functions both as an interactive element and as a metaphor for the creative process.

The phrase “Find what lies beneath” acts as the guiding idea of the installation. What begins as a simple physical interaction becomes a representation of how exploration and layered thinking inform design processes.

DIGGING DEEPER was conceived as a space for conversation and exchange, where the relationship between strategy, creation, and technology could be explored through a spatial experience.
